Attending every sermon and service may not be enough – you need to connect and grow in the spirit through serving. 1 Corinthians 12:12 tells us that God has given each believer unique gifts to serve and build up His church.
At Ascend, we have many ways for you to serve the Lord and others with your God-given gifts.

As followers of Christ, we are to carry each other’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). Serving and helping others in tangible ways encourages our neighbors, meets needs, and allows us to grow and develop true servant hearts.
Those who are born again in Christ are to become images of Christ, following His perfect example. To truly walk in Christ’s footsteps, we must serve each other – sacrificially, selflessly, and practically.
We are commanded to love each other as Jesus loves us (John 15:12). In this, we can contribute to the growth of the Kingdom and bring hearts to Jesus by exhibiting Christlike love. Acts of service illustrate that love.
Ascend is not a church with small groups – we are a church of small groups.
Discipling one another to be more like Christ through Bible studies, fellowship, and serving.
Reflecting God’s character by using different expressions to build up the church and bring people to Christ.
To inspire and mobilize believers to be more confident and equipped to share Christ in every day life.
Providing support and guidance to hurting people with biblical counsel and genuine love.
Leading the church to praise God with a mind that knows Him and a heart that loves Him.
