Biblical counselors must be mature believers who have a deep personal relationship with Christ and live godly lives. They must have a thorough knowledge of Scripture and the ability to interpret and apply God’s Word accurately in counseling situations. Biblical counselors should also be well-trained through intentional study, practical experience, and ongoing supervision to ensure they minister faithfully and effectively. Maturity in both character and biblical understanding helps counselors provide wise, compassionate guidance that leads to true spiritual growth and transformation in those they counsel.
The completion of the training audios and the 2 Case study submissions fulfills the required 30 hours of foundations to become an ACBC-certified counselor.
